Self-Understanding

After taking up art, I realized who I thought I was were just my roles in the family and the society. I was a daughter, a member of a family bearing my last name, a sister, a student, a teacher, a girlfriend, a wife; the list went on. With art I get to learn who I truly am, knowing myself from within not without.
