JUM JIRAPAN, BORN IN 1978
BACKGROUND
Jirapan is a multidisciplinary visual artist and social entrepreneur currently based in Arlington, Virginia, USA. She utilizes various creation methods i.e. drawing, painting, sculpting, and writing, as tools for self-exploration and empowerment. Jirapan loves working with and sharing her joy of art with others. Participatory artworks and projects are her favorites. She believes art is the key that opens doors to unlimited possibilities. The more people make or enjoy art, the better their lives and the world become.
As an advocate for art, education, immigration, and well-being for all, Jirapan's ultimate goal is to start a not-for-profit organization that makes therapeutic art programs accessible to all people around the world, especially for the underprivileged, such as refugees. She hopes to utilize her extensive educational and professional backgrounds in public and business administration, language education, hospitality, charity, psychology, and art to empower others to achieve their highest potential and live their best lives.

Jum is pursuing a master's degree in counseling-art therapy at Pennsylvania Western University. As the co-founder of USVisa4Thai (now US4THAI), a free online support group for Thai immigrants in the U.S. since 2005, she actively advocates for immigrants and refugees. She recently launched Triple E Consulting, LLC, an immigrant integration consulting firm focused on education, emigration, and empowerment. With a mission to elevate individuals' lives, Triple E Consulting provides guidance and support to immigrants as they navigate the complexities of new environments, fostering personal and professional growth while maintaining dignity and well-being.
