JUM JIRAPAN, BORN IN 1978

Jum Jirapan

BACKGROUND

Jirapan is a multidisciplinary visual artist and therapeutic art facilitator currently based in San Antonio, Texas, USA. She utilizes various creation methods i.e. drawing, painting, sculpting, and writing, as tools for self-exploration and empowerment. Jirapan loves working with and sharing her joy of art with others. Participatory artworks and projects are her favorites. She believes art is the key that opens doors to unlimited possibilities. The more people make or enjoy art, the better their lives and the world become.

As an advocate for art, education, immigration, and well-being for all, Jirapan's ultimate goal is to start a not-for-profit organization that makes therapeutic art programs accessible to all people around the world especially for the underprivileged such as refugees. She hopes to utilize her extensive educational and professional backgrounds in public and business administration, language education, hospitality, charity, psychology, and art in empowering others to achieve their highest potentials and live their best lives.
